KESSA Leadership 2025-26

KESSA leadership consists of three arms that work in concert to steer the vision. strategy and operations of the association. These are the KESSA Executive Board, KESSA Governing Council and KESSA Advisory Council. The operations of KESSA are managed by a four-member team that includes the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Governing Council: consists of the Executive Board members, one regional representative from Northeast, Southwest, Southeast, West, and Midwest regions of USA, one Country representative from Canada and one from Kenya, the Editor and Associate Editor of Kenya studies Review, and one student representative. Recently, a representative of Kenyan entrepreneurs has been co-opted. The Governing Council plans, publicizes and coordinates all KESSA activities. The KESSA Advisory Council is advisory and consists largely of KESSA founder members.; Profs. Kefa Otiso, Maurice Amutabi, Charles G. Manyara, Rachel Ndonye, Francis Koti and Elimelda Moige Ongeri.
