KSR Journal Submission Guidelines

GUIDELINES

Please read these guidelines before submitting your manuscript

The editor invites submissions of original, previously unpublished article-length manuscripts between 6000 and 7000 words (not exceeding 30 pages in length). Articles that have been published elsewhere in any form cannot be considered for publication, including those available on the Internet, nor will we consider multiple submissions by the same author. Submissions should be made on our online website http://kessa.org/ksr-journal/.

KSR follows the APA Manual Style (7th Edition) in all matters of form. Any submissions that do not conform to these guidelines may be returned to the author before being considered for publication.

  1. Manuscripts should be submitted preferably as Word files (.doc or .docx).
  2. Double-spaced, using a 12-point standard font size (preferably Times New Roman).
  3. One inch margins.
  4. Must include (a) a 150 – 250 words abstract and (b) a list of works cited.
  5. Following the APA Style Manual bibliography guidelines.
  6. All images must be submitted as TIFFs or JPGs (or camera ready). For copyrighted images or texts, the author will be the responsible for securing permission to be reprinted.
  7. Use American English spellings and punctuation except if referenced source has used British style.

TABLES AND FIGURES

Include tables and figures as appropriate within the document text or the page immediately following their first reference. Tables and figures that do not meet the specifications will not be included in the proceedings. They will be removed from the paper and replaced with a footnote indicating availability from author.

PAPER SUBMISSION METHODS

All papers for the proceedings must be submitted on or before March 1st, 2022 by uploading them to the KESSA website submission button. Attachments must be MS Word documents using Microsoft Word (or translatable) software, preferably in PC format. This will ease technical editing and allow for a uniform appearance for all published documents. We will not accept paper copies.
